I've only recently learned that a friend from highschool has passed away. As far as I know, he is the first one from ROTC that I know about. His name is Sang Jun. Unfortunately, I was only privileged to know him one year, and then a brief meeting some years after graduation. Others however, have greater memories and he was an important part of their life and friend for many years. Even though he did aggrevate me the majority of the time (I was his Platoon leader and always thought he just didn't like females in authority over him), I've always remembered him. Truly he was not a person you could ever forget. Sang, you will be missed by everyone who knew you, and live on in their memories forever. God bless you.
